Default 4th Indian Division badge?

Here comes a fairly interesting item, a white metal (possibly silver?) badge depicting a landing eagle, extended claws, quite identical to the 4th Indian Division formation device, therefore possibily a sweetheart badge? or a post war Indian badge? Usually, British badges are not screwback, and Polish ones are, but the pattern of the Eagle is rather Indian than the Polish one with serrated wings... Any hints?
