Have you actually tried doing a google search for the name + 'rifles' or
'regiment' or Rifle Volunteers or don't you have google access?
You might have to change the name from Sholinghur to Sholingur

According to Cox it is the badge of the 80th Carnatic Infantry (Indian Army) who were disbanded in 1921

Looks ok to me. The detail is good and the catch at the back isn't that
unusual. Not sure about rarity/value but IMO its kosher.

Quite right! The Sholinghur title is actually a Battle Honour and nothing to due with the name of the regiment. That is a very nice original badge and a rather rare one.
