Default Overseas Policing Unit

With reference to previous posts in this thread and with particular reference to the UK Police enamelled police epaulette badge I would add:

The I.P.T.F were part of the UN during their missions and wore the relevant UN badges.

This is how the badge was worn on the epaulette during the EUPM in Bosnia Herzegovina from Jan 2003- on. With a small exception, the shirt epaulette was issued with a small chrome Metropolitan Police button, which as I wasn't in the Met I changed it for a generic looking UK provincial chrome police button.

The badge was worn on the epaulette of the blue shirt, woolen NATO type navy coloured pullover and the outer raincoat epaulette in bad weather.

The EUPM brassard was worn on the right shoulder also worn was a cobalt blue beret with the EU 12 star circlular woven cap badge similar to the centre piece of the brassard.
