Default Royal Artillery Badge with lugs

Hello all,

I bought this Royal Artillery badge recently and would like to know a bit more about it if possible. The badge has been bent out of shape a bit and looks well worn and is fitted with lugs rather than a slider. Is this a good badge ?

Thanks in advance for all replies – regards Alan Y.

Default Pre 1914

I had not read the thread on early Artillery badges with loops before, but what I can say is that I bought a collection of badges a few years back which contained a looped Artillery in unpolished condition with the loops in exactly the same place. There was nothing in this collection that was post 1922, so yes, I'd say an Edwardian issue.
