Malcolm,

This badge has been the subject of debate on here more than once.

I think that it was decided it related to the Middlesex Regiment in some way.

You would need to find the original threads BUT I am not sure how, maybe searching Middlesex posts and trawling through but I am sure there must be quite a lot.

Definitely Middlesex, but unfortunately due to a rather large intake of vino collapso, my cerebral mechanism is struggling to find to which unit.

I shall persevere.

Middlesex I’m sure,to do with 57th of foot just can’t remember what, officers I think, there have been a few threads on this badge hopefully we can find them.

Default Mystery solved?

Badge 1102 is volume 3 of Martin Marsh’s catalogue of fakes.

Candidate for a fantasy piece I would suggest given this is the only ‘book’-let it’s found in.
