Default Fake KOSB badge?

Good evening Gents,

Can you confirm that the badge on the attached picures is indeed a copy?

Greetings from the Netherlands,

Marinus

Hi Marinus, welcome to our Forum.
I'm certainly no expert but it looks far too new to me. I do hope one of our more experienced collectors, especially in Scottish Regiments can help you out.
Regards,
Ken

It does look a little like it may be artificially aged.

I wouldn't rush out to buy this, as Phil says looks aged, also a rough finish on it.

Hi gents,

Thank you for your opinions and the warm welcome on this forum.
I bought this badge some 30 years ago and have always thought that it was a genuine one.
Last week I posted pics of the badge in a facebook badge collectors group and was surprised that there were some doubts about the authenticity.
The badge has indeed some odd characteristics.
Check for example the flagpoles and the small font of the "religiones" text

So I am very curious about the (second) opinion of the experts on this forum.
Again thank you for your opinions.

Greetings, Marinus

Hi, Don't know if it is considered impolite to hijack a thread, but as it is on topic what does anyone think of this one?

Looks fine to me. Nice stamped loops. Sometimes see them on other Scottish badges and KC Parachute Regt.
