Couple of Items of Modern Cloth For Identifiaction Please !
A couple of items of modern cloth for identification please. The QD patch I assume relates to the Queen's Division ? is it a beret badge or arm badge / The Duke of Edinburgh's Cypher I seem to think is something to do with either the Queen's Royal Irish Hussars or Queen's Royal Hussars (I may however be way off the mark !).
Both will be offered for sale once identified. Thanks in advance PL |

Depot The Queens Division did wear a silver grey on black fabric beret badge of this design, if it's of appropriate size I would think it is a beret badge.

Worn by the QRIH Duke of Edinburgh Squadron. Officers wore a circular bullion version.

The second badge is a Duke of Edinburgh Award Cloth Badge. Comes in Bronze, Silver & Gold awards.

sorry mate its not that(quite familiar with that through my work with the ACF and CCF), they have a border around the Cypher and are also smaller than this one Paul |

Paul are you sure that the second badges is not the DoE award, old pattern. The badges you referred to are the new vesrions which are small. The older ones were much bigger and did not have the border (see attachment - versions worn by the ATC over the years).
