It’s a nice thought and gesture perhaps but with this thread knocking around and some of the comments (I include myself in that), in the words of Sergeant Wilson - are you sure that’s wise?

Even if he doesn’t have any issues he probably would after reading this and discovering a dozen complete strangers have been discussing him and a few taking the Michael. Some welcome? Would probably make most a bit paranoid and leave them wondering why they’d been asked to join...

As a couple of people have said, this thread has run its course and far more. I don’t think anymore comments should go on here now. I won’t be posting again here. I’m not one for disappearing threads but I wouldn’t mind this one to vanish... and that’s no offence to anyone who’s expressed a view or opinion contradictory to my own, I just think it has the potential for more harm than good.
