No idea what these are. Wonder if any Forum member knows. I'd appreciate any help.

I wonder if the "WSC" shoulder title has anything to do with the "WSC" cap badge being worn by the young lad in the photo. I've still not been able to identify what "WSC" relates to.

The young lad appears to be in a Rifles affiliated cadet unit going by his buttons.

The CRO badge is for door staff etc at the old Commonwealth Relations Office, in use from 1952 to 1966; the CRO existed from 1947 to 1966 but I'm unsure whether a KC badge would have been used previously in this design.
The CRO became the Commonwealth Office from 1966 to 1968 then the Foreign & Commonwealth Office 1968 to 2020 before merging and being known as the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, as it now is.

That is really helpful - thankyou. They were only £4 each so I'm really pleased!

Thank you Peter. The buttons tend to suggest that. The "WSC" cap badge came into my possession many years ago purporting to be a West Sussex Constabulary cap badge. Which its certainly not!

Thanks gents. "WJC" or "WLC" I suppose it could be, but still no nearer to anyone telling me what the letters are an abbreviation of.

Looks like an 'S' to me.
West Suffolk/Surrey/Sunderland (etc) Cadets, maybe something along those lines?

Thank you. I must admit I've always thought it to be an "S" as well.
