Default Black panther badge

Good evening,

do you know this patch, given by a GI to a French soldier in Berlin in 1970 ?

Thank you

Laurent

I am going to stick my neck out and say I don't think it is American, based on the design and workmanship. Might it possibly be Vietnamese?

[I'm just trying to think why a GI would have had it in Berlin in 1970.]

Thank you for your replies

It's without a doubt the right unit. But the manufacturing is really different. So, not sure mine is a genuine one.
