How could I have left out 'Bridge on the River Kwai'? NOTE: On, not over. When my wife and I visited Kanchanaburi and crossed the famous bridge in 2005 I whistled 'Colonel Bogey'. See picture of bridge attached. This is not, of course, the original bridge as the Allies bombed it. Interestingly, there were a few Japanese tourists visiting it. I wonder what they were told at school?

The music at the end of 'Sink the Bismark' is also pretty stirring.
