Default US militaria forum

I hope I can ask this here, apologies if it is not allowed.

I applied for membership of the US Militaria forum about three months ago. I received the validation email immediately, but was told that a moderator had to do the final validation. Since then, I have heard nothing, even though I have sent a email politely reminding them (after about a month of nothing).

Does anyone know why this is?

As far as I know, I do not have a bad name on any forum of which I am a member.

I hope someone could explain.

BP

Question

Hi BP,

Can you log in as a member? If yes, go ahead and participate, if no, try to register again with a new user name and see what happens. Don't understand the holdup. I don't remember having this much trouble when I joined.

Good Luck,

Don

I have tried to create a new account, but the same thing happens.

I *can* log in, just that when I try to access a forum no topics appear (even if the last post is marked as yesterday). If I try to post, this message appears:

Quote:
The error returned was:
Sorry, you do not have permission to start a topic in this forum
This is the last message I got from them, after validating my account with the emailed code:

Thank you Brigade-Piron. Your registration has been successful. The administrator wishes to preview all new registered accounts before posting permissions are granted. The administrator has been notified of your registration.
Rather irritating.

I had exactly the same problem when I tried to join the Great War Forum. An admin approved me but then I was unable to do anything further. I gave up and decided to stick soley with the best forum.
