Default Cheshire Yeomanry Great War POWFs

Hi All

Does anyone have an example of the white metal version from this die? Do you have an example of just the POWFs by themselves in White metal or Bronzed (Brass) or Blackened?

Bronzed Brass (very little bronze coat remains)

"Prince Of Wales Feathers" Nozzer

Here is the same die for the Pembrokeshire Yeomanry. Not sure if there is a crimp on the slider due to the bluetack?

Quite a lot use this die. I suspect it is wartime manufacture.

Some earlier observations and comparisons in this thread.

The block font Welsh Cyclists previously derided as spurious is I’m now very certain genuine and even the example shown in KK. One recently turned up within the Bruce Bright collection untouched since the 1950s.

And as discussed in other threads the plumes are used on the Cheshire Yeo shown in Wilkinson 1st edition.

Both Pembroke Yeos below are I’m quite sure ex-Keith Hook collection via Geoff Newman’s site.

...this is the Lambourne Frank. They did some rough looking BiMs with extruded sliders as well. I will be doing an album for these POWFs. The Bronzed brass below is a smart looking badge though.

Here is the album I have started for this thread, you will find a fully Bronzed Brass Chesh' Yeo in there https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...p?albumid=4749
