Not wishing to be a pedant but from 9th Bn onwards they were ‘County of London’ Bns whereas 1st-8th were ‘City of London’ Bns. Indeed the Kensington’s, sadly both badges are fakes.
Another use for K is Army Recruiter. |

H is not the GSC cap badge, it is more likely to be a pouch badge.

I have two of these - one with Victorian and one with King's Crown and I hadn't spotted that this was the Vicky one. Given that the GSC was formed in 1914 you raise a very good point!
Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is/was a 'pouch'? |

H is not a GS cap badge. It is the wrong design and does the scroll not say City of London not Dieu et Droit?
As an aside while the GSC was a Corps in 1914 the design was worn with a QVC in 1900 and later 1901 by the Royal Reserve Regiment and later Royal Garrison Regt. |

Not this is not that badge as it had a crown. If the badge has slider on it then it the much rarer Army recruiters cap badge.
