The newest gem in my collection of Newfoundland badges a "Patriotic association of the women of Newfoundland" badge.

Just picked up a nice badge today and it's a little smaller than standard one, 35mm in length. One of the variants?

Went to the RNR museum and saw an exact match on the cap. The lady there said it's one of well known variations and the size is same as most, around 35mm length and 28mm height.
