Default WRNS badges

Hi all, Bored in lockdown, so thought I'd share some of the badges I've been sorting out! Here is my collection of Women's Royal Naval Service badges (and yes I know the cap tally is repro) all except 2 have been removed off a board I acquired about 25 years ago, I'm in the process of improving the way they are displayed, if anyone knows of or has images of any other WRNS insignia (other than cap badges) I'd be interested in seeing them, so I know what to look out for to add to the collection.

Regards

Tony

Hi Tony
What is the centre badge of the grouping, the crown over anchor in a ring? I thought that was a WREN artificer beret badge? Can you confirm that?
Cheers,
Alex

I believe it is something like that, I did actually ask that question on here when I first acquired it but could not ID it, so somewhere there is a post with a definitive answer!

Regards

Tony

Tony, what an impressive collection of badges!!! A nice inspiration for me as I want to expand into adding WRNS' to my collection of women's services.

I can confirm that my copy of BR 81, RN & RM Uniform Regulations (1984) has this badge listed as the beret badge worn by WRNS Artificer Candidates. When qualified as Artificers they would have worn the badge appropriate to their rate

There you go, found it! Originally posted by Guzzman.
