Bosleys Lot 299 4th July 2008?

Hi All

Does anyone have a copy of the old Bosleys catalogue for the 4th July 2008?

Lot 299 was for a silver or silver plate Firmin Motto with two silver Gaunt collars. I have the image of the lot but no description. So if you have the catalogue would you kindly let me know what the description of the Lot was please? Was the motto hallmarked..... if so what was the date given (also for the collars)?

Bosleys Postal ???? may be auction at Marlow
Had the same problem with a member gave him the Lot no and date more or less accused me of giving incorrect information He was looking at the wrong auction not badge but military Antique held at Marlow

Griff I found this. The sticker is dated 2008 but The Saleroom have it as being 2018 so maybe it sold a second time. Anyway, hopefully it gives you the description you were after.

Its so near yet so far! I wish the auction houses would show the back images.... its the most important part of a Motto ID. That Firmin Motto looks like it has been hand finished..... it does not appear to be the later Silver Plate (Looped E/W) NSN 8455-99-130-3056 (seen below) ..... it must be an earlier heavy strike thats been plated..... its tarnished that way as well...... but... just guess work without seeing the back.
