Default Welsh Regiment

I have this Welsh Regiment cap badge for some time. The lettering appears quite thin compared to other examples I have. Any comments welcome.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Just a poor quality pre 1920 version but better than some Lambourne examples. I've had one for ages.

I like badges such as this, which have been bent by the soldier for a prouder look on the cap.

Yes, I like badges that have been bent to shape by the wearer.
I was very particular about shaping the badges I used to wear, not that the casual observer would notice.
My father was very picky about his cap badge being bent to shape, apparently.
I have a few badges in my collection that have such a curve on them that they can't be mounted on a backing board, but that's how they'll stay.
