5th Canadian Infantry Battalion Help

Hi All,

I've just found a couple of relatives emigrated to Canada and then joined the 5th Canadian Infantry Battalion to go off to WW1.

Can anyone tell me what cap badge they would have worn please?

The only ones I can find are marked as Western Cavalry or Mounted Rifles, is it either of those as they don't sound right.

Hi Michael, to see an example of the badge, go to the CEF link in the ar reading Other Galleries at the top of the page. The 5th was also known as the Western Cavalry.
