I can honestly say i dont know what the bandsmans badge looks like. When i served with them,i knew the drum major who was ex RRW. He was a friend of an old SSM of mine Dai Skinner who was ex Welsh and RRW.
The only thing that i think is missing is the slide. Before CS95 came in all non commissioned ranks wore the plain green rank slide with blue RMonRE. This was worn in shirt sleeves and jumpers.
