Default KC Devonshire Regiment cap badge

I have just picked-up this Devons cap badge, which I assume to be the WW1 economy all brass version. My interest being that my great-grandfather served with the 13th (Works) Battalion of the Devons during WW1.

Looking at the shape, I am wondering if the angle of the points of the star changed over time, as it is less angular on the WW2 economy plastic cap badge (and other bi-metal badge) that I have.

Insights appreciated!

I have found six different WW1 all GM varieties so far, I think the different shapes have more to do with the manufacturer's than the period.

Thank you very much for sharing from your album - very nice! Comparing with my one and looking at the shape of the shape at the bottom of the circle (which has the distinct appearance of a 'rosette' on mine), I would say that it is most like type 02 from your album; although the tip of the crown looks a bit more pronounced, like type 01.
