I've got a soft spot for the Lonsdale bantams. Nice photo.

I think that I have some Tyneside Irish photographs tucked away somewhere. I will see if I can post them.

Indeed, I was going to remark upon his ill fitting tunic, particularly the shoulder straps, until I realized he is from the Bantams.
Was the entire Lonsdale battalion Bantam?
