New Zealand Railways?
The button with the monogram looks to have a Queen's crown, so after 1953. Seems to have a large 'Z', similar to button for New Zealand Police.
Could it be New Zealand Railways? |

Not my area of expertise but looks like QVC Crown and VR perhaps suggesting Queen Victoria - when you say 'Queens Crown' I was wondering which Queen you referred to. Looks too early for QEII (St Edward's Crown), but you may be referring to QVC anyway. I stand to be corrected of course.

Buttons
Hi everyone
The gold button is from 1864 -1880's site The other button unsure of date however we found early musket pieces and a early flintlock pistol. Though the site has had many visitors over the different eras of time from the 1800's, no railway nearby but a bridge was built through the site and a small hut was built there in the 1900's sosomeone may have dropped it Thanks for your help. Would love to find more about the gold one as i have never seen anything like it before. |
