RAF pin badge
Hi All,
I picked up this RAF Wings pin badge, 60mm wide, but it has a KC and looks recently made; any ideas why it should be made? b 1861.jpgb 1862.jpg TIA Iain

I would assume simply to sell to you and anyone else that actually wants to buy one, it is certainly an oddity and appears to have little if any actual age to it whatsoever.

I don't know, to me it looked quite well made on the front. What are the maker plates on the back, can't make them out? It looks a bit like it was nicely made and then somebody decided to stuff it up by adding clutch pins. Could they be retro-fitted?

This type of fixing was first used around 1921, I couldn't read what it says on the back either.

Okay, I've managed to read what it says on the rear; "Cameron Collection."
