'Very rare' all right -- to the point of being non-existant, I'm afraid. The 7th Div never wore anything like this, and neither did any of the AIF divisions wear any of the other 'animal' patches. These were vehicle signs only, and never worn on uniforms. How they came to be made up as cloth insignia is anyone's guess, it seems.
