Default 6th Bn Durham Light Infantry

Today's find what looks to me to be a perfectly fine BB 6th Durham Light Infantry cap badge.
Hopefully I'm not wrong, comments welcomed.
Tony.

Looks OK to me. Also worn by Durham School Junior Division OTC.

What is not according to K&K please? The wearing of the badge is recorded by E.J. Martin's article on OTC cap badges of 1938 when he wrote to the school in question about what insignia they wore. They were still wearing the badge at the time of publication where as K&K Vol 2 was written some 40 years after and sshows the bespoke cadet badges in Hugh King's collection rather than a study of all cadet units.

A list of all of the OTC and cadet ommisions and errors in K&K can be found here: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=39763
It's by no means a complete list so additional information is always welcome.

Alan
