Default Womens Legion

Hi, can anyone tell me please the correct version of the Womens Legion badge for the First World War, is it the version with the wings or the one without wings? Many thanks,

I remember reading somewhere that the First World War version of the badge was affectionately known as the ‘lady with the frying pan’.
