Default Small Time capsule to enjoy

Small Tobacco Tin containing time capsule to First Surrey Rifles / 21st County of London
Not often found together these days sadly war medal missing. L/cpl Bowels victory medal is to MGC

Thanks for sharing, Stephen. I'm guessing the British War Medal was sold for its silver content when times were tough.

Superb. I think these souvenirs in a tin are so evocative of a soldier's service.If the badges could speak they would have some tales to tell.
