At today's rate, C$1,484.84 and at that price this seller should have more on the BD what he has posted which in my opinion, nothing, no name no provenance = dubious. But, that's just me.

The nature of the patching on the tunic suggested that the original owner may have been Can Loan. A review of the Can Loan does not show any Canadian officers in the RA. Not conclusive, but it lessens one possibility.
There is a bit of a question about the RA and Canadian parachute wing. The officer would have to have been Canadian qualified and then seconded / transferred / exchanged with the Brits, and put in the airborne. Maybe, but highly unlikely.

Default BD Tunic

Even though the BD Tunic is 1944 dated, its actual use may be from the immediate post-war period. This pattern of tunic was used until at least 1949 so there is the possibility of someone using a 1944 tunic in the post-war period. An interesting piece that is priced for the European market.
