Reporting for duty
Greetings,
I am Ray. An actor from the US. Also radio broadcaster, production director, musician, singer...you know, that artsy/entertainer stuff. Although born and raised in the US, I've always had a special place in my heart for all things British. Presently, I am restoring a 1946 RAF Greatcoat I won off eBay UK. I must say I am very pleased with how it's turning out. As I need some WW2 style rank braid for the epaulettes, I have been Google searching and found this fine Forum. It looks like there is a lot of great info to learn here. I hope my first post goes in the correct section =) A pleasure to meet you! Cheers

Probably hard to get period insignia not on a greatcoat but if you are looking to make a 'Captain Jack' type coat this eBay link might help. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nk....c0.m270.l1313 Regards, Paul. PS Well I've just gone off on a Google and it looks like Jack has Group Captain rank. I had thought he was a Flt Lt as that equals an army Captain. You live and learn on this forum. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...All-Categories
