Best analysis is 92nd Gordon Highlanders with Victorian Crown, thus circa late 1890s for Foreign Service (tropical) Helmet, possibly as late as some dress order for Imperial Delhi Durbar 1903.

The ‘centre’ is a modern fake cap badge. Note the rounded ToysRus lettering, the weird ‘eyebrows’ on the stag and the outlines around the jewels.
As to the plate itself, I would suspect I’m closer in age to the Victorian period than it is. |
