Help Appreciated With Ich Dien Badge

Hello everyone.

I have this cast silver badge with integral lugs. Can anyone identify the regiment. I thought maybe Indian Army. Side cap or collar?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

I would think maybe the central badge from an officer helmet plate or cross-belt plate? Something like that.
