Default Gaunt makers mark dating

Is there a start(ish) and finish (Ish) date for the attached Gaunt makers mark please?

That looks like the East Surrey badge in the Maker's Marks album and is very similar to the mark on the 12th Lancers badge that includes "Late Jennens" in the same album. So from the mid 1920's, if not before, but until when, I have no idea!
A Gaunt's timeline would be very useful.

Very hard to define. They may have overlapped with the later small font that was seen on WW2 badges.

I think likely to be earlier. The small font was 40's so I suspect it was 20's or 30's.
