There can be many things. Best to post a photograph if you have a badge you are not sure about.

Cheers, Tim

Default A newby from sunny Hertfordshire...

Hello everyone! My name is Mike and I have had a lifelong interest in the military, especially coming from a military family. I was really pleased to stumble upon this site whilst trying to identity a lapel badge worn by a great uncle of mine in the British Mercantile Marine. I have a lovely sepia photo of him circa 1914, where he is wearing an unknown crossed-flags lapel badge. However, I will provide a better description in my actual request. I'm really pleased to have found you all!

Thanks in anticipation,

Mike

PS, I have recently broken my back and am currently using my tiny tablet to type this. Hope it's legibl!
