Welcome to the Forum Robin and may your two badges be the first of many as you take on a fascinating hobby. If you were to send me your address I will send you some to maybe spur you on, enjoy and cheers, Dean.

Welcome Robin.

It's marvellous to see younger people taking an intertest in this hobby, I only wish there were more.

May you have many years of pleasure whilst collecting, researching and gaining knowledge, which you will find plenty of on here.

Regards
Brian

good for you robin. its nice to know that there are still youngsters out there who are interested in history and collecting badges.

You will find, at your age, that many adults are more than willing to donate and help to encourage your interest. pm your address and i will see what i can dig out too.

im only 28 nearly 29 myself but some of the guys on here are ancient, some as old as 40 we will all do our best to help you out with any questions.

phil

I am Basicly stunned. Here in holland people are as generous as U guys. And if they offer something like this, they ask for a few euro's.

Its quite old now, an American film, about a boy who decides that for every good turn done to him, he would do one or more for somebody else. They would then keep the chain going.

I think it was a naff film but a good philosophy.

Welcome Robin
How lucky to live in Arnhem, surrounded by the history of operation Market Garden in 1944. I live in Brisbane, Australia, and used to visit Utrecht once a year for a meeting. The day before would spend the day visiting sites and memorials in the Arnhem-Oosterbeek-Westerbouwing.
Good luck with your collecting

Wach it Phil, there is a bloke on here who at 83 is only a few years older than me.

It's OK Robin, I can say things like that to Phil - he is a good friend of mine, and like many others on this forum, you will find him a great help.

A very warm welcome.

Regards,

JohnG
