Bottom left, I believe to be a submariners sleeve badge. Others I have no idea.

Two on the right are officers badges.

The two o the right: Top Possibly Queen's Harbour Master, bottom Foreign Naval Officer, badge based upon RN Officer, but the crown is different.

Hi david, its not RFA unless it has changed in the last few weeks! the anchor is the wrong way up and the RFA badge looks totally different, The badge pictured it is as decribed in this link! http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ead.php?t=7080

The other badge is not of the orient line but the Royal Mail Steam packet, the orient line badge is similar but different! picture below

Regards Tony

Hello

A _______ B
nm%20001%20(550x485).jpg
C _______ D

The badge in A has been discussed in http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ad.php?t=18287

The B badge is also in my collection :
UK_aux_40_v.JPG
and indeed is silver embroidered.
This badge was worn by officers on board Admiralty owned naval auxiliaries (not RFA nor Transport vessels) so mainly tugs & others port services.

To note : between 1974 and 2008 these harbour services were amalgamated into the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service (RMAS)
The RMAS ensign had two wavy lines under the horizontal anchor, but I have never seen a badge with these lines.

For the C badge, is it possible to get a better pic ?
also the back side - is it a one piece item ?

and last but not least, for the impressive D badge I do have a path to investigate ...
Is it possible to get a close up picture ?

to be continued ...

a+
