Default Burma

In 1939 approval was give to form Burma Army Signals which came fully into being by August 1941. Most serious collectors of Burma will be familiar with the Burma Army Signals cap badge with the Peacock surmounting the oval encompassing the image of Mercury. Not sure when this badge was first issued but there was another badge prior to that. It depicted the Burma dragon and has the title BURMA SIGNALS. This seems to have only been issued in bronze. Presume a Signal Officer badge for the Burma infantry pre 1941. Can any one tell me about this badge and who wore it and when? The only example I have is a collar facing the other way to the cap badge.
