Default Second Life Guards OSD and ORs.

An OSD badge and OR's badge to "The Bangers". I find there is little if any variation in these badges and genuine ones seem conform to these examples almost exactly. It does seem that genuine examples will always have the V in the cipher voided on both sides.
It have alway thought it somewhat odd that the badges to the "Cheesemongers" are so small and simple in design. One would think that the premier cavalry regiments of British Army would be sporting something bolder, yet they are quite understated. Very British of them!

Default Life Guards

Original household cavalry badges should always have the "v" hanging from the serifs (voided both sides). One of the easiest restrikes to spot.

Ditto above. I like an OR's badge that's got a longer 'V' as well. Cheers, Paul. Also like to find Household Cavalry badges with loops/lugs removed and replaced with a slider.

I have seen these badges with the lugs removed as well. I seems that these badges were normally lugged to begin with. Mine has never been issued or polished; perhaps the troopers prefered to have them altered to sliders for ease of removal for polishing (we all know the Household troops propensity for shiney badges!).
