Talking dorset yeomanry badge on officer's cap

Just to show a early post war bronze badge of the dorset yeomanry on original KSD PEAKED CAP. probably around 1925.
The chin strap buttons are plain and chinstap early model.
If somebody has a photo of an officer wearing this cap, it would be great!
cheers.

Pierre

That is a very nice cap, not to mention that it is a very rare one as well!
I believe I have seen a photo or two of ww2 era officers in the field wearing these unique caps, but I cant recall when or where. It can be a quite difficult to distinguish the green coloured band on these caps in black and white photos. Does the badge on your cap have blades or lugs?

Well, you are right, I've never seen an other cap like this one!!
The cap badge is fited by a single blade that goes behind the green band.
cheers.
