dorset yeomanry badge on officer's cap
Just to show a early post war bronze badge of the dorset yeomanry on original KSD PEAKED CAP. probably around 1925.
The chin strap buttons are plain and chinstap early model. If somebody has a photo of an officer wearing this cap, it would be great! cheers. Pierre |

That is a very nice cap, not to mention that it is a very rare one as well!
I believe I have seen a photo or two of ww2 era officers in the field wearing these unique caps, but I cant recall when or where. It can be a quite difficult to distinguish the green coloured band on these caps in black and white photos. Does the badge on your cap have blades or lugs? CB |

Well, you are right, I've never seen an other cap like this one!!
The cap badge is fited by a single blade that goes behind the green band. cheers. Pierre |
