Unknown maker mark to me and very crudely made with a very fake looking crimp mark on the slider. I would have to cast doubts upon this badge.

The question is, why go to all the trouble of faking a badge and then putting a totally unknown mark on the back. Maybe a small commission from WWI when the other makers were swamped with keeping up with huge orders from line regiments? I would keep that!
Cheers,
Alex

It’s a fake with the flat crown and the blob to the left of the crowns base like here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Britain-B...cf3d%7Ciid%3A1 . Fantasy maker. Reproers do all sorts I’m afraid, for the sole reason that it means someone may buy it.
