Wycliffe College Cadet Corps
I have just bought this badge and am rather pleased with it. It is not in K&K but I have identified it as Wycliffe College Cadet corps. The school magazine from that time includes the Cadet Corps entries which confirms that they had one.
I have found an archive picture from a photo album on ebay which shows the college's cadet corps in WW1 and they are wearing this griffin badge. If anyone has a copy of Rawlins to hand I would be grateful if they could check whether it is in there. |

Alan,
the only thing mentioned in the edition of Rawlings that I have, is the cloth title for Wycliffe College CCF. Peter

Thanks. So not recorded there either. Really nice to find an unrecorded bagde.
The Yeovil badge on the page is a new cap badge that I have not heard before either. |

I have now seen one of these and it is not military but a Yeovil school uniform cap badge with eyes for stitching on to a school cap worn pre 1925.

Thanks. I am not planning to sell mine just yet but it's helpful to know.
