Default Gulf war unit identification

Could someone please tell me what regiment/corps/unit SP.MIL.CHR.100 would be.

Romanian military hospital. Sergeant G G Martin Spital Militar Campanie 100
OR it could be:-
SG = Seaman Grade which is a Royal Fleet Auxiliary Rate

SP MIL CHR = Special Military Charter

100 = MoD reference ie Charter number

This medal belonged to a Seaman Grade in the RFA who probably was on a supply ship taken up for the Gulf War and manned by RFA & Merchant Navy crew.

Thanks jerry but After reading that I'm still none the wiser, the SG is in front of major on the medal I have and thought it may be a part of his rank, perhaps someone else my have an idea.

Andy, could it be a version of SGT MAJOR ie WO 1/WO 2 ??

I know nothing about modern medals and that's what I thought, it's marked SG MAJ PANTILIE SP.MIL.CHR.100 and I thought that someone may know what the unit was but perhaps not so easy.
