Default WW1 RISING SUN BADGE TIPTAFT DOUBLE STAMPED VERSION

Hello all,

I just saw this badge on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/-/301922908115

Has anyone seen these Tiptaft badges with double makers mark on them before?
Looks like a rare variant?

Thanks,
Jas

hey jas
these are the more uncommon rising suns but not that rare.
they went nuts price wise a few years back but the prices have come down. seen more of them in the past couple of years than over the past 20yrs of collecting
there are many threads in the rising suns section relating to these

Supply and demand, some badges seem to regularly fetch silly amounts and other badges that that are properly rare and you may only see a couple of times If ever fetch only 2or3 times what's been paid for one of these, once the current buyers needs have been met they will probably drop considerably for a while.

Hi BC,
While you're at it can you look for one for me too? I need one to compliment my recently purchased Tiptaft collars.
