Default Unknown Eagle cap badge

This badge has been sitting in my unknown box for around 50 years and unless I am being dense remains unidentified.

The crown has become detached hence its strange angle in the picture.

Can anyone help?

I intend to offer it for sale once I know what it is.

Jon

"Yugoslavian", given the Serb, Croat and Muslim symbols on the shield.
It'll be a Kingdom of Yugoslavia item.

Edit: I typed "Muslim symbol" above, I should've typed "Slovene symbol".

Yes, Slovenia is represented in the lower portion of the shield on the eagle's breast,Serbia being represented in the top left, Croatia in the top right.

The basic badge design on a 1938 printed Yugoslavian work book to a Serb farmer, later a member of the 1st Mortar Battery of 2nd Battalion, 13th Partisan Brigade, and a wounded recipient of The Medal for Courage.
