Default Diver branch - post 1950 rate badges

Illustrated below is the first Clearance Diver rate badge issued in 1950 when the RCN introduced the new Canadian rate badges.
This badge is very rare & probably the most difficult post '50 RCN rate badge to obtain.

In 1959 the Clearance Diver rate badge design was changed to the diver’s helmet being superimpoised over a mine. Its was probably one of the most attractive rate badges in the RCN.
This badge is illustrated below & also a matched CPO lapel badge set.

Default 1950's RCN Diver's Badges

Bryan - thanks for the posts on these items, even 12 years after the fact - greatly appreciated, as the info is (hopefully?) in perpetuity?
