Deciphering & Look Up Request, Please.
Look up and handwriting deciphering request, please:
Alex 1a.jpg The postcard above, dated 1915, is signed 'Frank', and appears to have been sent by a 'Pte. London' stationed at Alexandria. I would be grateful if someone would be kind enough to look up a 'Pte. Frank London', please. Also, I cannot quite make out the unit designation written at the top, and would appreciate members' assistance with this as well. I believe it says something like: 'S.O.A.S.' 'Not to be surcharged' Alex 1c.jpg 'Pte. London 2540 Signal troop [?] [?] Med Bgde 2nd [M?] DIV [Brit?] Med Exped Force' Alex 1d.jpg Thanks in advance, JT |
