Default RHA cap badge or collar. Help please

Hi
I have this RHA badge and I am unsure if it's a cap badge or a collar. I have checked my books and I can't see a difference between RHA badges and collars. The size of the badge is approx 35mm high and approx 22mm is length of the scroll.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

Afternoon gents,

RHA is not my area, but I seem to remember hearing/reading somewhere that collars to this unit can sometimes come without voiding to the royal cypher. Not sure if this is correct, just something I recall hearing.

Regards,

Peter.

RHA only began wearing the cypher collar about 1970; before that they wore the usual grenade. Furthermore by about this date the cypher had the end of the Garter belt dropping BEHIND rather than over the front of the belt; most of the early EiiR cyphers were of the latter design. For sometime the collar has had just the one lug, in common with many arms.

Aha! The old garter belt end controversy!......Again!.... I think Marc, (54bty) will have the definitive answer for this ...again. I'm afraid to stick my neck out, over to you Marc.
