Default 98th.Bde cloth badges

I have just bought these two cloth 98Bde. badges and would like to know chapter and verse about them, thanks, John.

Default 98 Bde Cloth badges

French artillery, worn in Kosova @1991!

Despite the fact you outbid me, I'll share what little I know:
It is believed this badge was worn by 98 (Surrey & Sussex, Queen Mary's) Army Fld Bde, RA (TA) sometime between 1922 and 1930. See Fig 286 of The Territorial Artillery 1908-88 by Norman Litchfield.

Well done, good looking items.

Why bid if you didn't know what they were, could have been a right load of ####.
However, in this case I think you got some nice badges, as stated, possibly worn by 98th Field Bge, in the 1930s and maybe also by 98th Field Regt in WW2

I did my recearch into these badges via Bosleys postal auctions, they only gave a brief bit of info and I would like the exact period and correct unit that wore them. Thanks for your concern, John.
