Default 26th Middlesex Cyclist

My "Holy Grail" may be on Ebay at the moment, but it seems very small, 3.2cm, which makes me wonder if it could be a collar? But Churchill says the collar should be just a bicycle wheel.

Any thoughts? Rob.

Hi Rod i have also seen it and as you say Churchill says the collar should be just a bicycle wheel but i think it could be a collar or as the ebay seller says cap badge? i have seen the glengarry badge but never a cap badge

It's certainly going to be an expensive collar.

My personal view is that it is a fs cap badge. The collars are known to be wheels and the cap badge, although identical to the one illustrated, is larger. It was also worn in a period where fs caps were commonplace. I may be wrong, of course, but by deductive reasoning I came to my opinion. David

£165, Jesus. The last one I saw went for about £80 and I just missed out on it.
