Default Wow! Amazing what you can find in your family history!

It's amazing what gob smacking things sudden pop up out of the blue.

I was amazed to discover that my family on my dad's side is Russian nobility! Never knew that and I suspect neither did my late dad.

I even came across a coat of arms (see picture) for the family which is pretty cool.

Might have to plan a trip to Russia as there is an archive in Vladivostok which I have been told contains mountains of documents pertaining to my family!

Keen to see how far the family line goes back and if we had any famous dukes or barons in years past.

Happy days!

Mick

That would not go down well with me. I detest communists with a passion.

Bastards murdered 3 great uncles and a set of great grand parents during the revolution.
